Mr. Russ has worked in a cross section of film and television. His film credits include; “LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD,” “SPACEBALLS,” “STAR TREK: GENERATIONS,” series regular roles on “THE HIGHWAYMAN,” “THE PEOPLE NEXT DOOR,” “STAR TREK-VOYAGER,” “SAMANTHA WHO,” and “iCARLY.” He has also appeared in numerous stage plays including the original Los Angeles premier of “DREAMGIRLS,” with Jennifer Holiday.
Mr. Russ has also been active in the TV/Film directing arena with credits including the television series, “STAR TREK: VOYAGER,” and the feature films, “STAR TREK: OF GODS AND MEN,
David Brin's science fiction novels and short stories have been New York Times Bestsellers, winning multiple Hugo, Nebula and other awards. At least a dozen have been translated into more than twenty languages. Novels include bold and prophetic explorations of our near-future, including The Postman (filmed in 1997) plus Earth and Existence.

JOHN ALAN SIMON
In July 2013, Simon completed post production on feature adaptation of “Radio Free Albemuth” based on the novel by Philip K. Dick, which he directed, starring Jonathan Scarfe, Shea Whigham and singer Alanis Morissette. On Discovery’s production schedule is the English-language film version of Jim Thompson’s “Pop.1280″ (from which Bertrand Tavernier’s Academy Award nominated film, “Coup de Torchon,” was also adapted) with Andrew Dominik attached to direct.
In partnership with Rosenbloom Entertainment, Discovery acquired film rights to three novels by renowned science-fiction writer, Philip K. Dick, whose works have formed the basis for such successful science-fiction films as “Blade Runner” and “Total Recall,” Steven Spielberg’s “Minority “Report” and Richard Linklater’s “A Scanner Darkly.” Simons’s script for “Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said” was optioned late last year by Halcyon Entertainment (“Terminator Salvation”) .on which Simon will also be a producer. Simon is currently working on a script “polish”.
Recent works include creating digital effects for GHOST IN THE SHELL 2 INNOCENCE directed by Mamori Oshii and directing the original anime Mattsu, Yamma and Moburi:The mystery of the seven gems and the flying castle― and Mattsu, Yamma and Moburi 2 Other works include, directing director Takashi Shimizu's, famously known for The Grudge, horror movie Alter Ego's VFX and music, creating the ending movie for the Play Station 3 game Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and creating the opening sequence for The Sekai Issan. Saku’s feature anime ARAGNE will be shown at The Philip K.Dick Film Festival
EFX MAKEUP AN DIRECTOR OF WILD BOAR
Academy Award winning Barney Berman honed his skills working for some of the greatest make-up artists in the business on shows like Body Snatchers, Powder, The X-Files, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Planet of the Apes, Pearl Harbor, Men in Black 2, The Ring, Master and Commander: Far Side of the World, and many more).
In 2004, Barney opened his own make-up fx studio, creating characters for such films as Mission: Impossible III, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, Blades of Glory and Camille, starring James Franco and Sienna Miller. In 2008, he was hired to co-design the make-up for Tom Cruise in the summer blockbuster Tropic Thunder.
His artistic skills and personal esthetic proved rewarding when, in 2010, Barney was honored with an Academy Award for his work in JJ Abrams's reboot of Star Trek.
Barney’s feature film directorial debut, Wild Boar will be featured at Dystopia Sci Fi as part of The Philip K. Dick Film Festival.
M. D. Selig is an independent writer, director and actor whose first feature film, Southern Justice, was distributed by Think Film, and appeared in all major video outfits including Showtime and is currently available on Netflix. He has since been involved in numerous productions, including a speaking role in Zero Dark Thirty, and as the creator and writer of GunRunner Billy Kane whose feature will premiere at The Philip K. Dick Film Festival hosted by Dystopia Sci Fi Con
Selig served in the U.S. Marines as an attack pilot flying the A-6E "Intruder" and is a decorated combat veteran of Desert Storm.
